Creating & Managing Jobs

The Jobs module in BluePro lets you manage work in progress, associate it with quotes and invoices, track job profitability, schedule appointments, and log labor or material costs.

Creating and Managing Jobs

To create a job:

  1. Go to the Jobs section in the sidebar
  2. Click + Job
  3. Enter basic job info:
    • Job name and number
    • Type (One-Time or Recurring)
    • Contact (select an existing contact or create a new one)
    • Salesperson
    • Expected end date
    • Associated request (optional)
    • Associated quote (optional)

Jobs can be saved as drafts and updated any time.

Products & Services

Each job includes a Products & Services section where you can define the work being done.

Appointments

You can schedule one or more appointments for each job. Each appointment includes a date, time, duration, assigned team members, and location.

Expenses & Labor

To log job costs:

  1. Click + Expense under the Expenses & Labor section
  2. Fill in name, description, date, and amount
  3. Click Add Expense

This is useful for tracking profitability or calculating margins.

Converting a Job to an Invoice

Once work is complete, click Convert > To Invoice in the top right corner. This will create a draft invoice using the Products & Services from the job, and link the two together.
